Toraks Game Guide.

I started playing this game a little bit late. In mid June in fact. Some have wondered how i have gotten this far.
Some pointer:

1. I buy 5 consti pills, 5 fortitude pills and nowadays 20 lunar tears per day. Thats 380 Diamonds. About as much as i can make in one day. This has helped me with my runes considerably since many of the spend 5000 diamonds events gave you one whole rune. Seems Snail has replaced the runes for now atleast with other stuff.. That dosent matter for me though since i got all orange runes anyway. Im also VIP 7, top up generally when there were extra loot events so as to gain as much as possible.

Edit: Update after Regnum: Dut to class change and stuff i just buy 2 consti pills and 3 fortitude pills and 10 or no lunar tears a day.

2. Always planned ahead. I decided fairly early that i would go for hades gear. I decided fairly early which pets i would prioritize. I still plan ahaed when i comes to Surging and Demigod. See the other topics at this forum for info about that. Right now i am slowly but surely gathering resources for surge 84, eventhough im still only level 80.

3. How i play. For a very long time i never autolooted. I played a map and if i didnt get the pet soul i wanted i just left the instance and redid it. Now u can chosse go again instead. This guaranteed that evolution would go fairly quick. Now i Autoloot alot more, generally autoloot 2-3 maps a day with lunar tears (u get tears at a rate of about 80 % per try). But i still farm Ice P and Pyrotaur every day.

This strategy can also be applied at getting surge pills. For orange surge pills i would recommend farming Edge of Time map 7. I dont really need orange pills anylonger though. So instead i do first map of gold pills. I put my strongest pets in first team and let my guy autoplay it. It takes around 2-3 minutes to finish. If i dont get a gold pill i just choose go again. I try to get 10 gold pills a day using this method. Combined with the 10 you can buy from store, thats 600 gold pills a month.

4. General stuff. Get a Hades, champ or neptunes ring and get it to q 34. It gives you alot of damage and parrybreak. When time comes and i have 4000 tears including all the ones from my q 32 gears ill reforge my gear and go for q 36 ring and let all the other gear be q 30. Reason? the parry break is op, and the damage you get is for me multiplied by 49 % from having the right items in belt.

Here is what I know about this, but this is from my experience before the update.

You CANNOT reforge gear items with orange exalt attributes (even if these attributes are not equipped - i.e., in your inventory).

There is a way around it without losing the attributes BUT IT DOES COST DIAMONDS, and you will need another item of the same kind (if you are reforging a helm, you will need another helm).

In order to do so you will need at least 1 exchange stones (150 diamonds) if you are switching from one set of gear  to another (e.g., from Ball's ring to Hades/Neptune/Champion ring). Here are the steps:

1. Use the switching stone to transfer the exalt attributes from the ring you are using to the new one.

2. Once the attributes are transferred, you can then reforge your old ring  (will cost 60 diamonds). This will give you back everything that you have spent on that item.

3. Once reforged, you can use the resources to upgrade the new ring (which will have the attributes of the old ring on it).

After the update, it says that reforge will give you back all acumen spent to upgrade attributes. I think that this means you can now reforge any gear item but you will lose any orange attributes you have as they will be transferred into acumen. However, I have  not done that myself.

What I did was reforging my helm and armor (lvl 32 discovery) to get back the lunar tears and upgrade ring to lvl 34 discovery (I had 1000 lunar tears but needed another 1000). I had spare helm and armor from the same set (Neptune in my case) so I switched the attributes from the upgraded items to the spare ones. After I reforged the helm and armor, I upgraded the ring to lvl 34 discovery and the spare helm and armor to lvl 30 discovery.
